Providing Intruders A Difficult Time Finding Your Important Items

By Jon J Youngie

I was jolted awake by a clanging noise coming from the kitchen in the first floor. A trespasser was searching through my home, probably, for some spare change that I might have lying around, or other valuables. The laptop computer as well as cell phone were in my room. I sat quietly in the dark, hoping he would leave soon.

The incident was a perfect test for the other diversion safe I purchased not too long ago. I wished the acquisition was not a magnet to bring in thieves into my property.

A diversion safe is available in a lot of forms, generally something found inside the home. Its purpose? To conceal valuables while keeping them in plain sight which criminals will not ordinarily consider checking.

The Love My Carpet deodorizer can safe was tucked away securely within the cupboard above the sink. It held some cash and a set of ruby earrings. It has got a detachable top and bottom and is weighted to feel full. While not certainly under the noses of trespassers, it won't catch attention since it looks exactly like ordinary home care products.

I heard of these covert safes from my mom. She resides inside a modest apartment in the outskirts of Chicago. Apart from her TV, he went for jewelry, also, and took a pretty bracelet my mom got since she was 18 years old. Pissed off, mommy acquired a wall socket diversion safe, that could keep both money and also several rings and necklaces.

My neighborhood is fairly safe. But when Mrs. Lawrence a few houses away reported she was burglarized, I began to look into methods to protect myself and my property inexpensively.

A visit downtown led me to a quick demonstration concerning how diversion safes have tricked many thief and left them empty-handed. The soda can safes were common with college kids, the man explained, as soda cans were very typical products within most dormitories or apartments of students.

A Dr. Pepper diversion safe may be left lying around stuffed with money but the burglar won't even realize it. Yes, a secret safe is going to certainly frustrate thieves.
